Child Care Assistant (Summer Student)

The Child Care Assistant (CCA) supports and assists the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) with providing high quality early learning and childcare by following our framework, values and philosophy.

• Builds trusting relationships with the children by providing a nurturing, loving and culturally sensitive environment that is positive, relaxed and respectful.

• Consistently demonstrating room awareness, supervising diligently and responding efficiently to children’s behaviour.

• Supports the value of play and ensures that play is permitted to continue over several days.

• Regularly cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting materials and equipment as per health regulations.

•  Encouraging and supporting the centre’s mandate of offering nutritious snacks.
